Binevir Obtains ICC-ES ESR Report 4933 for FRP Wire Mesh
Binevir is proud to announce the successful acquisition of ESR report number 4933 from ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) for its fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) wire mesh, W1.4. This milestone certifies Binevir’s commitment to innovation and high-quality standards in the construction industry.
Binevir’s Fiberglass Wire Mesh is designed as a superior alternative to traditional welded wire mesh, offering enhanced durability and strength. The mesh consists of high tensile strength fiberglass wires connected by plastic joints and is available in both rolls and sheets, making it versatile for various construction applications.
Tested by UMSML, Binevir’s fiberglass wire mesh was verified to meet the stringent requirements of AC521—Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Bars and Meshes for Internal Reinforcement of Non-Structural Concrete Members.
“Binevir Composites is the first company to obtain the ESR report for Fiberglass wire mesh, proving our dedication to delivering innovative solutions to the construction industry,” said Egor, Business development executive.
The ICC-ES Report confirms that Binevir’s Fiberglass Wire Mesh W1.4 complies with the International Building Code (IBC) and the International Residential Code (IRC). Additionally, ESR Report number 4933 has been extended to meet the building codes of the State of California, State of Florida, City of Los Angeles, and Abu Dhabi.
Since 2014, Binevir fiberglass wire mesh has been utilized in large-scale construction projects around the world (hyperlinks to case studies). As of 2024, this advanced product is available in the United States through Binevir’s distribution network and has quickly gained recognition in the industry for its superior features.
